If you have never seen their show, Two Fat Ladies, look them up on You Tube. While their fully fat laden cooking maybe out of vogue, I’m pretty sure you can still enjoy their humor – the ladies are hilarious.

As for the brownie team up in this recipe, I filled the brownies with a simple pastry cream. I love how it evens out the richness of the chocolate, while adding a nice textural contrast to the fudge like brownie. And yes, more sprinkles – they make me smile, so I added some.

Oreo Stuffed Funfetti Cookies

Oreo Stuffed Funfetti Cookies ~ This is a two-fer surprise cookie with a bit of funfetti bedazzling. Get the nonpareils out and roll the sugar cookie dough over it and then stuff it with an Oreo cookie for a 2-in-1 treat!

If you are a regular reader, you know I just finished up a run on beer dessert now it seems that I’m on sprinkle one. I love the color pop and fun they add to most desserts. These sprinkled and stuffed Funfetti cookies are incredibly easy to make. If you are not an Oreo fan you can stuff your cookies with anything you like.

It seems like stuffed cookies and cupcakes are the latest fad – and I’m totally okay with this gluttonous trend. Aside from that, whenever I serve a stuffed dessert of any sort it’s always a hit. But who doesn’t like an added element of surprise, especially when it comes to doubling the goodness of a sweet treat?

S’mores Pop

S’mores Pop ~ No bonfire required. These S’mores Pop were toasted on the open flame of a stove top then dipped in dark chocolate and rolled in some crushed graham cracker.

These were a fun and quick dessert I threw together for me and my little guy, Cole. The kid is fascinated by fire. Uh-oh! He is especially curious about my flame torch that he saw me use on some creme brulee and begged me to use it again.

Well, without any desserts that needed torching and under a highly supervised eye, we roasted marshmallows over a stovetop flame. He loved it-the fire, whole process of watching it go from lightly golden-the fire, to carmelize—did I mention the fire. . . . my little pyromaniac.
