Pretty Delicious: Episode 1- How to Make Macarons {VIDEO}

May 19, 2016 By Naomi Robinson | Bakers Royale 24 Comments

I’m super pumped for today’s post because it’s the first episode for the new food show, Pretty Delicious from Kin Community.

How to Make French Macarons | Pretty Delicious_Kin Community

You guys know how stubborn I am, so after what feels like thousands of macarons and more testing sessions than I want to admit, I have a few tips to help you out.

The video is a tad longer than usual, but there was stuff to cover! And when you get to the end, I’d love to hear what you think. Was it helpful? Did you like it?

. .  . . and did you subscribe, because there are more fun episodes to come and you don’t want to miss them!

    Awww I loved watching you on camera!!! You have a wonderful and sweet presence, and you know, it doesn’t hurt that you’re so gorgeous and you look great on camera…. 😉 Just had to say it because I hope you know.

    And I think you’re so right about macarons NOT having to be 100% accurate in every nitty gritty detail! I’m not seasoned like you, but then it’s not as bad as people make it out to be. I think it’s those folks who are kind of macaron-crazy-snobby that make it seem intimidating for the beginner macaron maker.

This Kale and Sausage Strata is the kind of dish that uses up all those bits and pieces in the refrigerator. This means dig through the crispier and let’s make the most of what’s in there. For what you see here, I threw in two handfuls of kale, 2 cups sausage, some mushrooms and cheese. All things that came together for one cohesive dish. To boost the flavor, I used Morton® Coarse Kosher Salt because its coarse flakes makes it easy to pinch and allows me full control when seasoning a dish.
