I do realise it’s not you personally that came up with the name for this drink, but in all honesty, I find it truly offensive, disrespectful, insensitive and disgusting. People in Ireland and Northern Ireland have been killed – as in blown up – by car bombs.
And this is supposedly ‘in celebration’ of St. Patrick’s Day???!!! What will there be next? Holocaust cakes? Twin tower shaped cookies?
Could you please find a way to re-name this? It makes me sick to think of the innocent people who were killed by REAL Irish car bombs, and whose families are still mourning their loss.
Again, I realise and can appreciate that although this is your blog, you didn’t come up with this sickening name for a drink. But still, consider its disrespectfulness and insensitivity, and perhaps come up with someone else to ‘celebrate’ and ‘honour’ Paddy’s Day.
