How to Make Individual French Toast Casseroles ~ Need to make French Toast for a crowd, but don’t want to fuss with multiple pans or the French Toast Casserole that usually leaves a soggy center that never quite gets baked?
Here’s the solution . . .
Mini Chocolate and Oreo Cakes ~ This is the kind of cake that you won’t be ashamed to beg for. Beneath the chocolate pour and Oreo rich mousse like frosting is a rich chocolate cake as classic as Chanel No. 5.
I know perfume and food hardly go together. In fact they really don’t for me. I don’t wear any fragrances and everything I buy is unscented. I’m highly sensitive to smell and will go as far to ask for another table or move to another seat in a movie theatre to get away from it.
So when I made this cake for my girlfriend’s birthday, she loved it and said the chocolate cake was as classic in taste as Chanel No. 5 is to perfumes. Of course, I can’t vouch for that.
Appletini Cupcakes ~ Yes, you read that right-cocktail cupcakes! The only thing better than a Friday cocktail is one between a cake crumb, preferably a cupcake, and stacked with some Swiss buttercream that has been churned with a fully shaken Appletini.
Alright, if I didn’t have you at Appletini, you can of course keep this a straight up vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting. Just please, keep the cherry on top and the crystal sugar rimming, for no other reason than cute food makes people smile . . . Really, have you ever seen a frowning face after a maraschino cherry?
This is a simple cupcake dressed up for some adult fun and dressed up for Bakers Royale’s 1 year blog-a-versary celebration!!
