Well this one is for those of you who are still suffering from a holiday hangover. You know the feeling, sluggy from the excess of calories, along with everything being a bit more snug than you’re comfortable with. Well, it happens to the best of us.
And when it does, a little a balance goes a long way towards getting back to being centered.
For me, I naturally have way too much sugar – actually, this is a regular occurrence. I will have cake for breakfast and then a donut at 10am, but lunch and dinner is usually a power salad with arugula, berries, brown rice, quinoa, with a protein or a green pizza like this.
It’s easy to make, filling, and taste great. In fact you would never know there’s an effort to be healthy with the thin wheat crust, the swap out from a higher fat cheese to Feta and the greens of course are lightly sauteed to a tenderness and flavored with a heavy leek sweating. Dear god, this looks SO good!
This is my kind of pizza, love all those greens and feta!
Never had anything like this, but it looks absolutely yummy!
A picture perfect meal for those whose who are sick of the heavy food but still caters for those want the take away classics 🙂
This is just so gorgeous! I love spinach and artichokes (and spin/artichoke dip!) and know I’d love this pizza!
Yummy!
Spinach and artichoke is one of my favorite combinations. This is perfect!
This is one perfect pizza! As much as I love my plain cheese slice, I love a nice green pizza loaded with veggies.
Gorgeous! The perfect green indulgence after too much sugar!
Ugh I can almost taste how amazing this is! Definitely making this for dinner.
I’m still feeling the hangover big time. I’m visiting home for another 5 days, and I just can’t bring myself to go all diet yet. That being said, as soon as I do, this pizza will be on my list 🙂
This is one mean, green pizza! Love it. Just what I need right about now. Happy Friday, Naomi!
Oh this looks so good! Spinach and artichoke anything is high on my list and then there’s leeks and feta?? Seriously perfect.
I’m Italian and how do I hate the pizza? I love the pizza in all its flavors!
YUM! This looks like dinner tonight!
Yes, please!! All over this.
This is my favorite kind of pizza!!! Love all of the greens. Just like you I over due the sugar and then have a meal like this for balance. It all works out in the end right?
It’s the pizza of my dreams!
Oh wow. This look delicious!
Yup – the holiday hangover is still in the air and still in my jeans… ugh. This is the worst time for me to be taking a beach vacation… But I can still get behind this bpizza – thank goodness for all the vegg!
I love how many green veggies you packed onto the top of the pizza! That looks like my idea of heaven. Especially after how much sugar I eat every day too… Baking blogging is dangerous most of the time! 😉 Pinned!
This pizza!!!! Love these flavors!
Totally crushing on this pizza! The flavors…wow! Pinned
Artichokes are most definitely a competitor for favorite vegetable ever. I could eat them for every meal if they weren’t so darned expensive! This is a beautiful dish – I can’t wait to try it out!
I’m a recent new fan of artichokes! This pizza isn’t loaded with cheese, so it’s nice that the artichokes and spinach are the main flavors. I don’t make homemade pizza ever, so adding this to my list Naomi 😉
This looks absolutely gorgeous! Flavours must be reasonably complex as well. Good mix of everything I can tell.
