Go get your disco dust out for these rum truffles. Trust me when I say it a little dust goes a long towards making things dressy.
The rum truffle recipe is from BHG. It’s seriously awesome. It’s not often that I eat batter-I know weird, but I don’t. I’ll taste it, but I usually wait for the finish product. But this recipe-I had to stop my spooning finger from reaching for more.
Hit the jump to check to out the rest of this contributing post over at Better Homes and Garden’s blog Delish Dish. And psst . . . I’ll be using that recipe for another upcoming post-stay tuned.
I’ve been wanting to try edible glitter dust forever but never knew what to use it on. Great idea!
I had just pinned some rum truffles last night…but yours looks about 1 million times better. GORGEOUS!
And great job on the BH&G part of it, too 🙂
Gorgeous truffles, I love the glitter dust!
I love a good, boozy truffle!
Oh girl, let’s just get married and live in rum, chocolate, cake, cookie filled bliss?
OK?
Good
Your pictures are always so pretty they make me want to cry. And eat things. I’m so confused 😉
I think I have cake stand envy – you always have the neatest cakes stands for your posts! Where do you find them all?
These rum truffles look amazing!
So pretty! I need to find me some dust like that. I can’t even find normal glitter over here, let alone edible stuff. At least there’s always eBay USA. 🙂
Wow, the disco dust is a genius touch. These look perfect for Christmas decadence.
You’re so brilliant. The gold accents truly change the entire look!
Woah, this is such a showstopper!
Disco dust is PLASTIC CRAFT GLITTER!!! It is NOT for use on any food–ever. Doesn’t matter that it’s non toxic–it’s PLASTIC and we don’t feed plastic to people.
Edible glitter is made from gum arabic, sanding sugar, or gelatin.
