I’m always in search of good snacks that taste good and is good for my boys. I love it when those two things come together in a fast and easy recipe like this homemade granola bar. This is definitely one you want to bookmark.
It’s fruity, with just the right balance of sweet and salty, most of all it’s chewy–just the way I like my granola bars. Of course that might be because a while back (seven years ago!) I chipped a tooth on a too-crisp granolabar—that admittedly, I made. Every since then, I have been going for chewy and holding grudges against all crisp granola bars.
I promise this one won’t chip your tooth! And just in case in you need further encouragement, check out the video to see just how easy it is to make!

I bought all the ingredients to make, but could’t find the brown rice syrup. Any helpful hints where people found theirs? Also, your pan looks bigger than a 9×9″, what size do you recommend? Thanks in advance!
I love granola bars. And I love mango so these look really good. I’m going to try the recipe. I’m just wondering whether my kids will like the flavor but if they don’t, more for me! I like all those healthy ingredients you’ve included.
I found your website for those double chocolate cookies and they were so good that I came back for a granola recipe. AGAIN … so good!!! I can’t wait to try more. Thanks for your consistency and variety. I’m a mom of 5 boys and they all approve. 😀
