I’m super excited about this KitchenAid Food Processor because this is hands down my favorite kitchen tool. I have had a 12 Cup Professional one for over 7 years and it is my food processing Baby that just won’t quit.

Psst . . . . here’s a whopper for you, I use my food processor more than my KitchenAid stand mixer-gasp! I know, how does a baker use a food processor more than a mixer? Well, unless something needs air whipped into it, the food processor get first crack.

So aside from the standard duties of processing and grinding nuts, pureeing and chopping and slicing, I use mine for cookie doughs, pie crusts and other pastry doughs like tart shells and rugelach. On the savory side I use it for all kind of things  like making pestos, salad dressings, soups, sauces and even meat grinding. That is a lot of utility and that is why it reigns supreme in my kitchen.
