Being a busy mom with picky kids, I spend so much time cooking for everyone’s tastes that sometimes I am too tired to give myself a proper dinner. So when I get a surprise box of goodies with a recipe card that promises a meal that clocks 30 minutes from start to finish, you can bet I’m going to give it a go!
The resulting recipe is what you see above—Garlic Sesame Noodles with Beef. It delivered as promised and did not disappoint: easy to make and thoroughly delicious. The recipe is from — wait, are you ready?
It’s the recipe that inspired the Lean Cuisine Garlic Sesame Noodles with Beef. I know you guys love a good copycat recipe as much as I do, but guess what? This is not a copycat recipe; the recipe and ingredients were sent from Lean Cuisine.
This recipe was created by their culinary team of chefs and it was the inspiration behind their Garlic Sesame Noodles with Beef, Of course I was curious. I wanted to know what inspired Lean Cuisine to develop their frozen products found in the grocery store. Lean Cuisine Garlic Sesame Noodles with Beef is made with recognizable ingredients, like the recipe they sent me.
I made the recipe and documented it with step-by-step photos.
The sauce.
The beef and veggies.
So how about the frozen one from the store?
Drumroll . . . Winner, winner – I don’t have to make dinner! Lean Cuisine provides an alternative that brings all those ingredients together in a time-saving fashion for when I can’t make a from-scratch dinner.
Yay, me. Because it’s an absolute fact that I cannot make dinner every night. But for the nights when I can’t, I can feel good about enjoying Lean Cuisine because (I’m going to bullet the reasons, since I know you guys love a good list like me):
- Their recipes are developed by a culinary team of real chefs who draw inspiration from exploring cities and restaurants known for their flavorful recipes.
- They have dishes made with organic ingredients, along with Gluten Free and High in Protein options.
- They use ingredients like the ones you could find in your pantry, resulting in Lean Cuisine options with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives.
These points above are exactly why Lean Cuisine has premium shelf space in my freezer. So for those nights when I don’t even have 30 minutes to spare, I’m reaching for a Lean Cuisine that I know is made with recognizable ingredients!

Just another sneaky way to advertise. Make people think you are offering a recipe and instead it’s just a plug for frozen food. What a FARCE!
