Who is ready for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games? I can’t wait. This year I’ve partnered up with the HERSHEY’S brand, an official sponsor of Team USA, to show my team spirit and colors in several ways.
The first way is what you see above—a red, white and blue S’more! I’ve taken the traditional S’more and threw in some fruit, because who’s going to say no to layering creamy HERSHEY’S chocolate, warm toast-y marshmallow, chocolate syrup with raspberry syrup and fresh raspberries and blueberries? Whoooo? No one.
I’m also using this S’mores creation to celebrate the U.S. Olympians—America’s everyday teenagers and young adults who have accomplished their Olympic dream. On August 10, National S’mores Day, I’m joining in on HERSHEY’S Olympic Movement to create meaningful and shared moments of connection with Team USA by sharing our favorite S’mores along with messages of support on social to Team USA tagging #HelloFromHome.
To join in the fun and show your team colors, all you need to do is dedicate a S’more to your favorite athlete, or all of Team USA, with a Tweet. Make sure to hashtag #HelloFromHome and tag @TeamUSA and @Hersheys to show you are cheering them on while they’re in Rio. I, of course, will be cheering on all of Team USA, while my little guy Cole, wants to do a specific shout out to Jordan Burroughs – he looks up to him so much. Who are you going to cheer on this year?
Whether you’re making your S’mores around a campfire or in the kitchen, make sure you grab your HERSHEY’S chocolate, which is truly “America’s chocolate.” Hope you take time to show Team USA you care by sharing a social post with the #HelloFromHome hashtag and tagging @Hersheys on Twitter and Facebook. As an added bonus, you will also be entered to win a HERSHEY’S S’mores Kit. It’s win-win! Good luck and go Team USA!

The amount of s’mores we’ve made this summer alone is enough to fill a swimming pool, and yet, I now have the urge to RUN to the store and buy some blueberries and raspberries, yank my kids out of bed and light the pit just so we can add these to the list!
Absolutely incredible <3

Please please please, oh pretty please… May I have that whole stack of s’mores??? I’m a huge chocoholic (umm maybe I’ve mentioned that by now? I can’t remember!), and pairing it with fruit is one of my favorite combos. Especially when it gets all melty from the toasted marshmallow. My mom actually keeps a permanent stash of graham crackers and Hershey’s chocolate bars in her pantry during the summer because she makes herself a s’more (or two!) every time my dad grills dinner on the barbeque… Which is almost every weekend, if not more! 😉 I hope Cole gets to see some great clips of Jordan Burroughs competing — that’s so cute of Cole to dedicate his s’more to him!
