Re-mixed? Yup. Re-mixed. I love a good classic margarita, not the icy kind and not with salt. Nope. I want it on ice and no salt. And until recently, no Cointreau or triple sec. In fact, that portion is swapped out for some club soda.
My brother-in-law made this for me a few weeks back and I’ve been working on replicating it ever since. It’s the best margarita I’ve ever had.
I’m sure the purists out there will tell you that this is not a margarita without the Cointreau, but then again – I did qualify it as re-mixed.
Now onto other news . . . I joined a new social app called Steller. Some of you may already be on it or are aware of it. If so, I’m on it – let’s be friends and tell stories!
It is my new found obsession and my favorite social media platform. I love its storytelling ability. You can load photos, put text directly on photos, upload videos and each one of these loads onto to its own page and is then compiled into a book to share with others and they can view it on any mobile device. It’s really amazing. The best part – its simple and intuitive interface makes it super easy to use.

Love the idea of a Marg on Monday morning! And a fizzy marg? Even better! Pinning 🙂
If I’m not doing a margarita, I’m a tequila and tonic guy. Tequila,

I would love to try this, but unfortunately am intolerant to alcohol. Looks great though – I’ll have to pass this idea along to my husband.
