Brownie Ice Cream Cake

July 24, 2013 By Naomi Robinson | Bakers Royale 21 Comments

I’m  rolling through this week with one dessert after another. It might be a manic period or a start of a new trend. Whichever it is, I’m not making a declaration of it, being that all my other ones have immediately failed or the trend goes away when I do.

Yeah, I know–weak.  But we’re all friends here, so let’s move on and talk about today’s brownie ice cream cake.

Brownie & Moose Track Ice Cream Cake from Bakers Royale

It’s a super easy show stopper that will make you a hero. Hit the jump here to Brit+Co to see the step-by-step pictures to making this. Small note: Yes, this recipe is highly adaptable, but before you go messing about, let me say—don’t skip the Pirouline cookies. They make this dessert. You can use the dark chocolate variety or the hazelnut. Both are killer and provide a nice crisp texture and a good bite of flavor. (For the record, I’m not being paid by them. I just love their product)

This is killer dessert as you said. I never though I would say this but I think I have found a new cake to replace my traditional ice cream pie cake at pot lucks.
I can not believe you though of this, Genuis!

The idea, the photos, the flavors, the fact that you can photograph ice cream and not have it all melt all over on you – amazing to all! Pinned.

Naomi, I think you may have outdone yourself with regard to frozen desserts! All of my favorites are here…chewy brownies, yummy Moose Tracks ice cream & crunchy Pirouline hazelnut cream-filled cookies (or chocolate, but those hazelnut cream-filled are mighty tasty and so addicting!). So pretty, too! Already pinned (from Brit+Co). Thanks for sharing! xo

This Kale and Sausage Strata is the kind of dish that uses up all those bits and pieces in the refrigerator. This means dig through the crispier and let’s make the most of what’s in there. For what you see here, I threw in two handfuls of kale, 2 cups sausage, some mushrooms and cheese. All things that came together for one cohesive dish. To boost the flavor, I used Morton® Coarse Kosher Salt because its coarse flakes makes it easy to pinch and allows me full control when seasoning a dish.
