Peppermint Chocolate Spoons and Hot Chocolate
Let’s get cozy with some hot chocolate and chocolate covered spoons that have a holiday sprinkle of crushed Hershey Peppermint Candy Kisses.
You guys know I’m crazy for peppermint. Every year around this time, Igo through this run of peppermint recipes so don’t be surprised that another one is coming this week.
And to be totally honest, the one coming later this week was actually suppose to go up today but bad luck prevents me. The images for that post are stuck on a memory card – forever. I’m not sure how I managed this, but one of the spines on the memory card broke and now I can’t get anything off it.
Since many of you don’t know me personally, let me tell you when I panic I curse. No filter, no volume control-nothing, it’s not attractive. Luckily it doesn’t last long, one sentence, four words and two expletives. But with this broken card, I’m sure my neighbors heard me shout in horror. I’m sorta screwed. I lost five for-hire projects which pushes me back even further in terms of making my other deadlines.
Ah well, one day at time as MIL always tells me.

Arghhh! I’m so sorry about the memory card. That is one of the most frustrating things ever!! I would still be screaming. ;) But the spoons…the spoons look AH-mazing. Do I HAVE to swirl it in hot cocoa or can I just have it for a snack?

These photos are truly stunning. Just as your memory card incident is truly tragic. Though I may be a (mostly) Christmas Scrooge, I never fail to have a soft spot for holiday recipes. I think they’re my favorite part of the season, and I can’t wait for you to overcome all obstacles and see what’s coming next!

We had that happen once on a vacation – lost an entire memory card’s worth of pictures. We were so bummed because we didn’t figure it out until we got home and if we had found out when we were still on our camping trip we totally would have taken pics all over again. So I feel your pain.
Gorgeous photos on the spoons. I love peppermint too. Baked some peppermint chocolate chip cookies today.

Hey!
I just read about your memory card fail. I feel like if you took the card in somewhere (digital camera shop, tech school, someone who builds/fixes computers/hardrives etc) they would be able to somehow get the images off the card. As the digital media is still on it…good luck! Your blog is beautiful.

So pretty, Naomi. I’m really sorry to hear about your memory card fiasco. I would still be cursing up a storm if I were you. Best of luck recovering them or, if need be, retaking them. :(

I love those spoons,we also use our DCD Chocolates to make them but do not add any thing to the chocolates as it is pure cocoa butter.
