It’ s a place where there is something for everyone, and that is not always so easy to achieve when you have a toddler and 9-year-old. Thank goodness for the large m enu that consists of dishes that are made from scratch using fresh ingredients. Usually everyone orders their favorite, but that day, we went for a few different ones and ate like we usually do: picking off each other plates, laughing, talking and just being plain silly.
Now if only shopping was this seamless. But to help things along, we did pick up a few Cheesecake Factory gift cards. Of course my boys really didn’t mind this because for every $25 gift card purchased, we received a Slice of Joy card for a free cheesecake slice*. While the Slice of Joy cards are redeemable on a future visit in 2017, they talked me into a slice right then. Admittedly, it didn’t take too much arm twisting, because their seasonal Peppermint Bark Cheesecake is one of my favorites.
I’m a sucker and a big softy for pleading eyes, especially during the holidays. My boys know how to play me, and I know how to let them.
